Thank YOU! d3 Transfer Update

This morning we did a day 3 transfer. I just have a second on the computer and then WW is going to make me recline. :)

Out of the 17, these were the numbers at 6 am this morning:

2 grade A 8-celled (by the time of transfer one of these had gone to 9-celled)
1 grade A 7-celled (by the time of transfer this one had gone to 8-celled)
5 grade B 8-celled
5 grade B 6-celled
4 grade C 4-celled (these looked good too but were given a lower grade because they were only 4-celled by day 3...apparently not a great sign in terms of embryo energy)

We put back the 2 grade A 8-celled and the 1 grade A 7-celled, after assisted hatching.
They will continue to culture the others to see which ones make it to blast for freezing and let us know on Monday.

My RE this time was the one who did my hysteroscope. I told him that the last transfer was very painful and problematic. He was SO great. He went very slowly. He took lots of U/S measurements to make sure he could try to accommodate for my twisted backwards uterus, etc. It was 100% different from the last time. What a relief it was.

When we were supposed to go into the clinic all these emotions I had been pushing down just exploded and I sat in the car crying for about 10 minutes. I couldn't make myself stop. This was such a big day for us, for me. When I got in the waiting room there were two other women crying too. WW decided to play a game called "How many tissue boxes will we see during our appointment". She's very sweet. There were 11, if you are curious.

Thank you all for your support and wishes. I will post more later on and add a picture of some really cute embryos that I hope stick around. I will put up the rest of my schedule too, with Beta dates.

OMG this is WONDERFUL!!! I am so thrilled to hear how your transfer went, and what a great number of embies that made it!! And with assisted hatching too, I'm sure the RE said things are promising.

I've been thinking about you and hoping that today would turn out as it did.

And yay for WW - I'm so glad that she was there with you to support you through this.

Congrats on the transfer. I am sure that you will have a lot of embies for freezing! I am excited that this cycle has continued and I can't wait to hear about the BFP!

Daisy!!! Crying as I read this post - the day finally arrived!! So happy for you and WW. What a wonderful result. Now step away from the computer and do as your loving partner tells you and recline!!

Oh how cool! So glad to hear it went well. PLEASE post freezing results (I'm hoping you guys get some left overs) and schedule. Everything is crossed for you guys. I was told no caffeine at all (even chocolate), which I managed to do for the entire first semester. Hang in there!!! :)

I am so happy for you and I feel your excitement!!! I couldn't help but compare my results to yours and I am slightly envious of your 3 grade A's. I'm guessing that corresponds to my single grade 4 ( the highest grade in my RE's particular system). Anyway, I am thinking of you every day!

OMG - this is tremendous. We are in the 2ww together.

I hope it flies. Since I have done same, I grant you permission to do whatever the fuck you feel like for the next two weeks.

You are now the official home to 3 superstar embryos. I wish them ridiculous amounts of will power to accomplish their incredible feat.
