Get Serious AF! (aka CD 3)

You know that AF, she's such a joker! (scowl) I have had tsunami type AF days when we are not on a ttc schedule. Now, when I am anxious to move on with things, AF barely makes an appearance.

Usually, I follow a pattern: cd1 light, cd2 medium, cd3 med-heavy, cd4 nothing, zipo, nada (I call this my day off), cd5 medium, cd6 light, cd7 all done. That cd 4 is a bizarre thing. I have asked a few of my friends and they have never heard of anyone getting a non-bleeding day in the middle of AF. But there you have it, my usual routine. I like this routine. I count on it.

Today is cd 3 and I have almost nothing to show for it. I'm totally out of whack. I don't like the idea of my cycle getting freaky before the DE IVF. So I say, GET SERIOUS AF!!

??Does anyone out there know of anything herbal or otherwise I can use to get the flow going full force??

In other news, I am a 25 day cycle kinda gal. Yes, this is completely unfair. In the course of a year I will have more periods and more often than my 28 day friends. A point I often mentioned with my high school girl friends. I think I was looking for some kind of menses award. Bleeder of the year. Highest consumer of 'feminine hygiene' products. Record for sitting out the most pool parties, or record for owning more black jeans than other girls. I don't know...something. Maybe my only conciliation is cd 4, the day off. That, and a consistent cycle. Well, I will take it in place of money or an award. I just wish I had it NOW.

If all goes well with my ED, we are looking at end of July or beginning of August for ET. Unfortunately, WonderWomen will be at a Girl Scout Campathon the first week of August. She is a troop leader so she will have 15 girls depending on her. I will be sad if she cannot be there for the ET, but that's just one day in a whole lifetime of being there. Hopefully, there will be many more important days after that.

Hey, I have that day 4 thing too! I call it "intermission." Not always, but definitely is a pattern sometimes.
Acupuncture might move things along - don't know if you're already doing that - my acupuncturist claims to be able to do all kindsa stuff.

I have that CD4 thing as well. Go figure. But thankfully I'm basically done with CD5.

I don't know if there's anything that will get the flow going full force. Acupuncture may help as Joy said, but we've all got our "rythmn" so to speak and it may not be a good idea to mess with it.

I have a CD4 intermission as well. It started after my 30 month hiatus from AF after my daughter was born (due to breastfeeding). I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!

We'll be cycle buddies now, for my delayed DE FET.

I'm Cd5 today, and will be doing the ET at the end of July (in my next cycle)
