What could possibly be better than chocolate? I don't know if there are any non-chocolate lovers out there but I have completely accepted the fact that chocolate is one of my drugs of choice. Yes, it has consequences, but the benefits are so good!
I can only think of one thing that might be better than chocolate and that is having readers leave comments on your blog. I know I have readers and a small group that leaves comments...and they save me. You hear that? You save me!
Mel over at Stirrup Queens and Sperm Palace Jesters, has an intriguing post with thoughts about comments and commenting over here. When I began blogging I did so as a personal journey. What I realized is that personal is not the same as isolated. When readers comment, it is the cyber support that lets us know we are not alone in the universe. I know someday life on other planets will contact us by leaving a comment on our blogs. That's just another one of the many reasons I leave my comments on.
Last month, a miraculous thing happened in our small DE cyber-universe. A fellow blogger came back after suffering an unthinkable loss. DEmummie, posts again in all her courage and glory over at DE.... Struggle and Success. Go over and drop her a comment. I know she will appreciate it.

Thanks for the link. I found DEmummie right as she stopped blogging. It's nice to know she is back.
hi Daisy - I'm going to read the links now.
I just wanted to agree with you, that although my blog is my own catharsis and way to work through issues, the support of commenters is invaluable. I always feel the loss when I know that people are visiting but not commenting, but I'm always afraid to say "hey, please leave a comment for me!!" Thank you for articulating this.
And it is better than chocolate! :)
Thank you Daisy for the shameless plug for my pitiful little blog. I am trying to write more now that my life has "settled" down a bit.
Thank you for your kindness,
Kathy (DEMummie)
