Today I found a website that was like an advertisement for a donor recipient couple looking for an egg donor.
I don't know how I feel about it. Just thought I would share. Check it out. Your thoughts?

I'm not sure what I think about it either. I think the page is well done in that she is not saying, "I need the donor to be x, y and z" but if she wasn't that picky, why put up a website at all.
I think that I have very high view of my own genes. I think most people do. I also think it is good to recognize, at least logically if not emotionally, that you cannot recreate yourself in a baby. It seems to me that someone trying that hard to get the perfect match is still hoping for a mini-me.

There's something nice about the simplistic nature in which she's asking for something that could be perceived as complicated.
But there's somthing mildly creepy about her perseverance on her high IQ. I suspect she wants people to read between the lines. And why not just be candid if you've gone as far as to create a website soliciting potential donors?
I don't know. That might be creepier.
I think the whole thing is creepy. I really don't have any problem with her doing that, but it just feels personally creepy. The site is nice, it just made me feel weird.
I also didn't really like the whole IQ thing.
